Study Tips and Tricks for Finals Week

    study break

With finals coming up quicker than we would like, it’s time to get serious about studying – that’s why we’re here after all! Here are some ideas that will help you kick those finals in the butt.

Get organized. In order to succeed with so many tests happening around one time, you must plan. Throughout the semester, save any study guides or material that you could refer back to for a comprehensive exam. If you have the opportunity to visit office hours and check out what mistakes you can improve on from the last exam, do that. Seeing this information for a second time might make it more familiar which will in turn cause less stress. Once finals week rolls around, it’s time to really start planning out your studying in order to maximize the little time available. Waiting until the last minute will not only leave you with less than adequate time to study, it will also cause more stress than necessary which will take even more time away from studying. Plan ahead so you can fully prepare and ace that test. For more tips visit the Between Classes Blog
