Virginia Tech’s 7th Annual Stepping Into Leadership Conference is a forum and showcase that serves to educate, inspire, and equip student leaders and promote success for life-long leadership. Coordinated by the Pamplin College of Business, Corps of Cadets, Leadership Tech, and Residential Leadership Community, Stepping Into Leadership has provided excellent professional speakers in the past and will continue to do so this year, in addition to highlighting the efforts and stories of current Virginia Tech student leaders. We invite submissions from current student leaders who are able to share their perspectives on leadership aimed to support and engage aspiring student leaders as they take the first small steps towards higher levels of leadership.

Open to undergraduate and graduate student presenters, the student-led sessions should be designed to benefit undergraduate student leaders at Virginia Tech. Subject matter can vary widely, however proposals should address a program, event, experience, or strategy that you have employed with success as a student leader. Please plan to actively engage your audience for a full 50 minutes in order to meet the multiple needs and interests of a diverse population of learners.
