To better serve the Virginia Tech community, the Virginia Tech Off-Campus Housing resource center (VTOCH) has transitioned to the Squires Information Desk. By extending the hours, information and resources will be more readily available.

Each year VTOCH hosts two off-campus housing fairs to provide students and Virginia Tech community members with information about local rental properties and services for off-campus residents. This event is free and open to the public.

The VTOCH resource center provides up-to-date listings for local rental properties; tips for safe, off-campus housing; information on renter’s rights; moving and storage information; and other pertinent resources.

Virginia Tech Off-Campus Housing (VTOCH) provides many resources to those seeking a living space outside of the university residence halls. Available resources include: apartment guides, bus schedules, and detailed information about apartment and realty companies in the Blacksburg area. VTOCH acts as a liaison between the customer and the housing supplier.

The VTOCH website is a valuable resource for those seeking off-campus housing. Website users can find detailed information about people looking for or offering housing, ways to research options, and a message board where students can post roommate wanted listings, furniture for sale, or ride requests.
